Dierks Bentley is a famous name in country music
artists. He actually doesn’t need any introduction. Am I right? I am just
sharing some of my thoughts over Dierks Bentley music and we’ll discuss about
Dierks Bentley songs, too.
November 20, 1975 is the birth date of this rocking
singer. This American singer cum songwriter has created his own brand of
country music with a fine blend of classic country songwriting, awesome
instrumentation and the energetic rock and roll. With six studio albums
released till now, he has achieved 10 Grammy nominations, sold five million
albums and scored ten No. one hits. In the year 2005, Bentley won the CMA Award
and was invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Dierks Bentley stands as
the third youngest singer after Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner.
In the starting of Dierks Bentley music career, he
worked at The Nashville Network where he researched on old country performances
clippings. In 2003, the first Dierks Bentley music album was released. The very
first single of the Dierks Bentley music album named "What Was I
Thinkin'," reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles. It
also became a hit on Tracks charts later that year. The next two singles from
that album, "My Last Name" and "How Am I Doin'," became 17th
and 4th, respectively. "Modern Day Drifter", the second Dierks
Bentley music album, was released in 2005. Having two Number One singles,
"Settle for a Slowdown" and "Come a Little Closer," and the
Top 5 hit, "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do.", it also certified platinum.
Dierks Bentley songs
have a unique identification of them. A unique combination of awesome lyrics
and soothing music, Dierks Bentley songs are just incredible. The list of my
favorite Dierks Bentley songs is really long and I can’t discuss about all of
them. But how can I miss one of my most favorite, "What Was I
Thinkin". Honestly, this very first song made me a fan of him, and I can
bet I am not the only one. Yes, this song has made millions of fans of this
American singer. Released in April
2003, it is the first single from his self-titled debut album. I believe it as
his first and most hit. Dierks Bentley What Was I Thinkin deserves this. “I
was thinking about a long kiss man just gotta get goin’ with a night like me”,
the best line of this song, for me. The
third single, "Long
Trip Alone" from his
album "Free And Easy"
is also been listened by me often.
